Giba Gunyah is on
Sapphire Coast Bird Route No 2, Bemboka
There are many drives around Bemboka and into the hills well
worth exploring.
This route is a 22 km circular drive through some typical
Bemboka scenery commencing at the Bemboka Hall in the main
street on the corner of Adams St and continuing along the
length of Polacks Flat Road. There are stops suggested
and many places to pause and look from the car, especially
at bridges. Please remember to keep one eye on the rear view
mirror and watch for local traffic. Slower cars with birdwatching tourists are not everyday drivers on these
roads. Set the trip meter, follow the prompts and enjoy your
day.
